That’s right, I quit YouTube.
My last video went out a couple of days back. Why the newsletter then, you ask? Well, it’s only proper that I wrap up things and explain to you guys why I took this step. But there were a couple of other videos this week as well: One was about the newly proposed tax bill, and the other was about how millennials are quitting their jobs in droves.
Seems to be the season for quitting.
70% of Millennials about to quit their jobs
Offices are opening back up… But it seems like people don’t want to go back. In a surprising twist, the second wave of the “great resignation” is about to hit again. Even though companies are trying their best to get employees back to the office, workers have solid reasons not to take up their offers. Let’s take a look at why people are quitting, why they plan to do so again even though they regret quitting the first time - and most importantly, how you can make money off of this information!
Included: A sneak-peek at why Gen Z thinks it’s ok to quit your job after 6 months.
The Joe Biden Tax Plan
It finally happened - A new tax bill is being proposed that could soon increase the brackets, impose a tax on “unrealized gains” (like this nightmare on WallStreetBets), and create a “minimum wealth tax” on incomes above a certain amount. I usually avoid such topics because of the political context involved, but this is something that’s going to affect everyone, and I want to help you understand how you can plan ahead for it. I’ll be taking a look at the last time taxes changed in 2017 and what this bill is going to do differently.
Taxes are a boring topic, maybe - But understanding the basics could save you thousands of dollars! Be sure to check it out.
I quit
And now, the elephant in the room. I’ve seen other creators make videos like this but I never thought I would be doing one. When I started doing YouTube a few years ago, I thought nobody would watch. I didn’t know it would change my life. I kept going because I would have been a fool to quit. But now the time has come when I can’t take it anymore. You only know what you’ve seen on camera. This is my confession about what it takes to make it on YouTube and why I just can’t keep going any longer - and what I plan to do next. Love you guys and thanks for all the support!
Oh, and this video went out on April 1.
So that’s it for my Sunday round-up. For the new folks here, in this newsletter, I give a quick recap of whatever you may have missed over the week on Sunday, and on Wednesday, I will be doing my deep-dive article on one of these topics.
See you next week with another bunch of exciting videos!

A quick request: Since my newsletter has a lot of financial buzzwords like “credit” and “money”, there’s a chance that it’ll land up in your spam or promotions tab. Please take a second to mark the mail as important, move it to primary or just reply to it with a “What’s up Graham!” so that you never miss another update. Cheers!
