Scary but insightful. Thank you. Also I enjoy the Star Trek references and the fact that we can use our imagination to think of a solution in our own personal Kobayashi Maru situations we face as the economy tanks.

I wonder what would happen if we went back to March 2020 and stopped the Fed from printing money and quantitative easing. The economy would have crashed for sure but would the recovery be better and with less inflation?

Energy is a major contributor to the CPI. Taming inflation will be an uphill battle for the Fed with oil and gas companies seeing the writing on the wall.
